A poster and identity for a seminar hosted by the Department of Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies at Rutgers University in New Brunswick
By the Rutgers Department of Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies, I was asked to design a poster including an artwork by Bronson Smillie.
To ensure a distinct, clear identity fitting of the subject, I developed a visual system around the artwork that hints to the diversity of gender and sexuality.
The goal was to create an identity fitting of the event and that serves the original artwork, rather than clashing with it. This style was further translated into assets present at the seminar.
